Comment on MW3 Getting Dedicated Servers on The PC, Consoles Not So Much by Zulu2012

I really don't understand why Activision can't give consoles dedicated servers. I mean, Gears of War did it and they don't even have an eighth of what Modern Warfare 2 had playing it constantly. It can't be a money issue, because they just gave away 1 million dollars in a tournament at CoD XP. It makes no sense. The servers would remove host advantage, there would be no need for host migration, games wouldn't shut down because some sore loser rage quit and shut off their xbox, and it would provide an overall better experience on the game. If they were going to fix anything this should be the first thing they do. But they will never do it because Activision is a group of money whoring ass holes who don't care about anything that their consumers think, they only respond to supply and demand. They don't understand that improving one of their most famous and best selling titles would be MUCH more successful than just milking all they can out of what they had in CoD 4.
